The Old Man v.s The New Man

I was told that i used to look frail and appear to be dragging my feet everywhere i go. To think of it. Yes. That was how i was made out to be ever since i became an unhappening student in a jc. However, there was indeed a turning point in my life where people were not as cruel as i thought they were. But somehow time proved me wrong. And then there was light! Yet another turning point came when that someone special stepped in. We had some common elements which set him apart from the crowd but once again my heart spoke a different tune. I wasn't sure of what to listen to because many conflicting voices spoke to me in my head at that time. So i gave him up. Told myself not to look back anymore. I have learnt to look forward and not backward. Nostalgia really is my soft spot. I tend to look at photographs and secretly hope i can travel back in time to back when i was innocent and happy as a teenager. But time and tide did not wait for me to procastinate. Hey! Shannon! The voice in my head speaks. Why give up the entire ocean for an ikan bilis? There are so many people out there needing your love and concern! Why concentrate on just winning that one soul when you can win an entire generation of souls ! Wow. This one is definitely a voice from above. And so i wonder. Is being a winsome person really so impt? Do i really need to abide to God's commandments? What is it like to live by faith and not fear? Can i truly delight myself in God's word? And the answer is yes. If i learn to let go and let God handle my needs. He knows what to do because i have learnt to trust in his word. From today onwards, the bible shall be my best friend and henceforth i shall not worry because i know and i know God has a plan and path for all of us who believes in him. I believe my turning point will come. And my worrisome days shall exist no more....

Wa these few days really tired. Think only accumulated 6 hrz of sleep so far. Coz my dad just subscribed to scv and now got free ktv channel with 24hrs non stop karaoke!! How cool is that right..! Haha. Though work is boring, dance kept me going on and friends lifted my spirit. Detesting the fact that they dun let me change shift but what can i do. Ren ming lor. Unless someone can offer me a better pay and a non shift job. But quite hard ah. Think gotta pray more for some kinda revelation...

So chio leh.

Today is a working day for me man. Until 11pm!! No life.

Need to change another 2 times at the end of the month. Dunno how many pple i have to bother.

Sigh. But so far God has been good to me as i always manage to get out of the shift fix i'm in.

EMERGE 2006!!

Imagine this. Kelly Poon, Jun Yang, and Taufik all appearing on the same stage in church! Yes! That's exactly what happened in church these few days! Unimaginable! It's an extraordinary church i tell ya! And today Sun came back with a song from her new album "Shou Huo". My eyes were literally welling with tears when she made a surprise appearance. Although every service is almost 3 hours long, we had fun as we were worshipping the lord like never before. So many gr8t new songs composed by KC! He is really gifted. I wish the album will come out soon so i can go grab a copy soon. Singing it in church every sunday is not gonna be enough for me. I wanna hear it everyday!! Destiny.. Take All of Me.. Sanctuary.. They are all such gr8t songs!! Looking forward to tmr's service and bro will be on stage for spelling bee finals during service. Gonna pray for him that every word will be spoken to him thru God coz only he knows the hard work that my bro has put in. Pray that his hard work will not go to waste and that this will bring him into a new level of annointing. Tmr results for preaching challenge is out too. Steph sounded pretty disappointed but pray that it would not turn out too bad. Just wanna thank god for city harvest church as it has truly turned my nights into days. Update on the EMERGE 2006 finale tmr. It's gonna be a blast. Alrite here's a glimpse of the action...
