When you use your eyes to see the world.

It seems so much smaller. At night when i shut my eyes to pray, i feel that God has created this world with no ends. Such that man will always seek improvement and betterment. Today i was walking to the bus stop to catch my bus like every other person. However, i noticed something which triggered my emotions so much that i decided to take time to blog about it. This boy(or teenager, probably 17 or so)handed a fifty dollar note over to his grandmother who was seated at the crowded bus stop. Grandmother did not say anything. Like it was a usual practice btwn the grandmother and boy. I felt. Pretty guilty. And at the same time heart wrenching. The boy is probably only 17! And he is giving his grandma money/allowance? Gee. I would fall in love with a guy like that. God must have spent a lil more time on people like that. Really touched my heart. Sometimes when we are caught in the web of dollars and cents, none of us will pay attention to such little gestures. But i believe. This fifty bucks could have meant alot to this boy or rather, it could have been half his weekly allowance! Well, these are my assumptions but seriously, how many youngsters today offer to feed their parents or grandparents for that matter. This was really a heartlandish act of the week! Just wanna thank God for all the persons in the world who use their hearts to see and not their naked eyes... So far i found 2. Jesus and Richie!

Love does not mean possession, truly.

I realized that when you truly love somebody, it really seems unworldly. It feels out of this world and the sacrifices that you make for that person seem like something you can't even imagine. I know all this seems impossible and crazy even. Possibly fanatical but all these seem more meaningful when you realize that the other party is living happily the way he or she is. So what if you can be with the person you love everyday. Share the same roof, the same habits, the same dining table.. Eventually predictability and monotony are going to creep into our lives and take everything that was so special away.. leaving us with nothing but contempt. If only one could forever feel so special. And if only that special someone could forever be so special. Then life would seem so much more meaningful without having to deal with contention. I guess as long as we can do things that we want without having to deal with guilt and insincerity, we will live a life worthwhile and die without regrets. I really hope i will be able to handle situations in life like it was all part and parcel and that everything we possess now is truly not ours. What is money without satisfaction. And what is love without hate. As we learn to let go we will all begin to realize God has planned something greater for us. So every situation that obstructs our progress will soon become passe. I have learnt to deal with difficulties the hard way, how many of us haven't? Well. Always look at difficult situations with a happy heart. Or basically just be optimistic and things will turn for the better! You may not know this and you may never ever know this but you have taught me to be a cheerful person altogether. I love you so much!! You are my number 2 next to God!!

That's Xing Rong!

So cute right. That is Chun Kiat's cousin. We were all at his grandfather's wake today. Yup doesn't seem like a very nice thing to do at a funeral but Xing Rong really very cute. He very handsome leh for his age haha. We almost drove him to tears because his shoe came off and 3 of us could not put it back on. Hai. Those guys in E99 really not very handy with babies sia. Lol. Can't blame them. All below 20 lor what can you expect. Tsk tsk. Haha. And the pretty girl is deborah.. our emerge makeup finalist! Her makeup bag really full of goodies one lor. Hope she wins! And hope my brother wins spelling bee and the $1000! Heh heh heh…
